Ti Ti Taa! : Mr Barney's expression of Merdeka
My Barney loves to follow Mak upstairs for her dose of 'Has' (that's Mr Barney's term for Gerak Khas) every Thursday nite. {This will be followed by a shout from Mak - in Java "Lawang nge inep" and Mysanc's shout in English - "Shut the door" ; a message for somebody who's using the PC in the master bedroom to close the door. No simple "Tutup Pintu!" phrase is allowed, as the message in Malay will be intercepted and decoded by the brilliant Mr Barney. If Mr Barney gets his hands on the PC all hell will break loose. He 'types' faster than Miss SuperSecretary and he handles the mouse with his super-deft finger which could easily make Maksim of the famed Flight of the Bumble Bee blush. } Mak would religiously follow the story line. Mr Barney would roam room to room, looking for anything to rouse his curiosity. Mr Barney found a tiny flag people in Pokchu's room. You know - the 'hula' flag ('hula' as in the Hawaiian dance) people used to decorate their car dashboard with. "Ti Ti Taa!", he would exclaim. Waving the flag. Ahh, such a young mind. Such a merdeka mind. Merdeka from worries. Merdeka from corruption... After a while, he become bored. "Nak yon, nak yon" (I want to go downstairs). He'll watch CSI:Miami with Angah {For some reason, we cannot get RTM1 & RTM2 from the TV downstairs}. Then he recalls his flag left upstairs. "Nak Ti Ti Taa! Ti Ti Ta"! ... "Mak, tolong campakkan bendera ke bawah..." The flag descends like a parachute. ---
