Rich 'peragut' , poor 'peragut'
My parents were carrying out their usual monthly activity of cleaning the 'ikan bilis' (dry anchovies), when an old newpaper {dated August 11, 2004} with picture a man in yellow shirt, and hands being cuffed, caught mysanc's attention: mysanc: Mak, mak, inilah gambar peragut yang kaya tu...{news about the habitual snatch thief leading a luxurious life can be found at The Star Online here, and here. Or, you can always google it. Mak: Mana ? Mana ? Bapak: Ni hah...{turn the old piece of newspaper {where all the anchovies guts and heads were placed} upside down, so that Mak can look at the picture}. Mak:Melayu ke ? mysanc:Entahlah, dia tundukkan kepala...> Mak: Dengarnya dia ada saving RM300,000.00 . Hasil meragut ke ? mysanc: Entahlah... Mak kenal peragut yang miskin? Mak: Siapa ? mysanc: Kambing... Mak: Laa...Ha ha... {Reminds of an email I received a few weeks ago. The subject header was 'Peragut ditangkap dan disembelih'. I thought the thing happened in Baghdad- you know lah with the recent events... When I took a look at the attached picture, it was of a slaughtered goat being hung to enable the butcher to scrape the meat off the bone. Tsk, tsk, tsk...} ---
